Matthew Mayhew, son of Thomas Mayhew, was born at Tisbury, Wiltshire, England, about 1550.1 He died before 26 February 1613, when he was buried at Tisbury.1

Matthew married Alice Barter, daughter of Edward Barter and Edith (…), at Tisbury, 2 October 1587.1
