Anthony Beers, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at sea in 1676.1
Anthony married Elizabeth (…), whose parents are unknown (or untraced), say 1642.1
Anthony Bere came from Gravesend, in 1635 with his brother James, and his uncle Richard, to Watertown, Massachusetts; removed to Roxbury; and ultimately to Fairfield, Connecticut.
A tract of land was recorded to him (Anthony Beere) in 1667, and he sold it in 1669. He was a mariner, and was lost at sea in 1676.
Unless the three first daughters married quite young, they were probably born in the order given (which is based on the dates of their marriages--see Bond's Watertown Records, p. 20). The place of birth is probably not Watertown, as the rest of Anthony's children are recorded there. Torrey indicates that the first wife Elizabeth may have been a Firman, but she might have instead married the uncle, Richard Beres. 23,4
