Francis Eaton, son of John Eaton and Dorothy Smith, was born probably shortly before his baptism at St. Thomas, Bristol, Gloucestershire, England, 11 September 1596.1,2 He died at Plymouth, Plymouth Co., Massachusetts, before 8 November 1633.3,2

Francis married (1) Sarah (…) at England, about 1619;4,5,6,7 he married (2) Dorothy (…) at Plymouth, in 1622;4,7 he married (3) Christian Penn at Plymouth, about 1626. The ancestry of all three wives is unknown (or not traced here).4,8,6,7
