Sir Robert de Beaumont, Count of Meulan, son of Roger de Beaumont, lord of Beaumont-le-Roger and Adeline of Meulan, was born about 1046.1,2 He died 5 June 1118,1 and was buried at the chapter-house of the Abbey of St.-Pierre, Préaux, Normandy, France.3

Robert married, as her 2nd husband, Isabel de Vermandois, Countess of Vermandois, daughter of Hugh "le Grand," Count of Crépy and Adelaide de Vermandois, Countess of Vermandois, in 1096.1,2
