Sir William Montfort, Knt., son of Sir Baldwin de Montfort, Knt. and Margaret de Clinton, was born before 1375 as he was of age in 1396.1 He died 6 December 1452,1 and was buried at Aldridge, Staffordshire, England.1

William married (1) Margaret Pecche, daughter of John Pecche and Katherine (…), before 1407;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Joan Alderwich, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before October 1422.1
