Sir William de Oddingseles, Knt., son of William Oddingseles and Joan (…), died 19 April 1295.1

William married Ela Fitz Walter, daughter of Sir Walter Fitz Robert, Knt. and Ida Longespée, before 1273.1

He was a Knight, of Solihull, Budbrooke, Maxstoke, and Olton (in Solihull), Warwickshire, Pirton, Hertfordshire, Oxborough, Norfolk, Weeford, Staffordshire, and Cavendish and Newton, Suffolk, and Justiciar of Ireland.

In 1265 he witnessed a charter for Philip Basset, Knight, and his wife, Ela Longespee (his wife's aunt). In 1285 he claimed a court leet with gallows, tumbrill and assize of bread and ale in Maxsoke and Solihull. In 1294 the king granted him the castle of Dunamon in Connaught in Ireland.1
