Liudolph I, Duke of Eastern Saxony, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born about 805.1,2 He died 12 March in in 865 or 866,1,2 and was first buried at Brunshausen, and later reinterred at Gandersheim, Germany.3

Liudolph married Oda, daughter of Billung and Aida, say 835.4,2
