Saher de Quincy, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died between 1190 and 1193.1

Saher married, as her 2nd husband, Maud de Senlis, daughter of Simon de Senlis, Earl of Northampton and Maud of Northumberland, between 1137 and 1140;1,2 he married (2) Asceline Peverel, daughter of Pagan Peverel, after 1165.3

Saher de Quincy held Long Buckby, Northants as a mesne tenant under Henry I. The family came from Cuinchy near Bethune.4,5,1
