Richard Fitz Gilbert "Strongbow," 2nd Earl of Pembroke, son of Gilbert Fitz Gilbert "Strongbow," 1st Earl of Pembroke and Isabel de Meulan, was born about 1130.1,2 He died about 20 April 1176,1,2 and was buried at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Dublin, Ireland.1

Richard married Eve of Leinster, daughter of Diarmait Macmurchada, King of Leinster and Mor, at Waterford, Ireland, about 26 August 1170.1,3,4

Richard also had an unknown wife or mistress(es) with whom he had two daughters.1
