Godfrey I "the Bearded," Duke of Lower Lorraine, son of Henry II, Count of Louvaine and Lorraine and Adelaide, was born in 1060.1 He died 25 January 1139/40.1

Godfrey married Ida de Chiny, daughter of Otto II, Count of Chiny and Adelaide of Namur, in 1105.1
