Sir Geoffrey de Say, Knt., son of Geoffrey de Say and Alice de Cheyne, was born about 1180.1 He died while in service at Poitou, France, 19 August 1230,2 and was buried at the Hospital of St. Mary, Dover, Kent, England.2
