Joan Lostock, daughter of Richard de Lostock and Emma de Merton, married (1) William de Toft, son of Roger de Toft, in 1277;1,2 she married (2) Thomas Vernon, about 1316;3 she married (3) William Hallum, about 1337. The ancestries of the last two men are unknown (or not traced here).3

She was the heiress of her two brothers, bringing estates at Holford in the township of Plumley, Bucklow Hundred, Cheshire, to her husband.1
