Esther Sawtell, likely daughter of Obadiah Sawtell and Hannah Lawrence, was born probably between 1689 and 1693.1 She died after 1739, when she and Samuel sold land in Groton.2

Esther married Samuel Bowers, son of Jerathmael Bowers and Elizabeth (…), 31 January 1709.3

Kellogg and Threlfall place her as a possible daughter of Obadiah, as shown here, but have some doubts due to 4 children born in the available time frame of 1689-1693. She could also be a nearly posthumus daughter of Obadiah's brother, Zachariah, who had died by 17 Mar 1691/2 when his wife was referred to as widow.1
