John Green, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died at Bedford, Westchester Co., New York, between 1692 and 1697.1

The mother of his children is unknown; he married (2) Martha Finch at New Haven, Connecticut, September 1658. The ancestry of both wives is unknown (or not traced here).1,2

John Green of Stamford is most probably not the man of Suffolk Co., Long Island who married Mary Jarvis, daughter of Steven Jarvis and Mary Porter. Hoppin said he was, but Seversmith points out that Hoppin gave no evidence, other than that the name was the same. John's first wife is unknown.3,1
