Hawise de Vitré, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), married Robert de Ferrers, 1st Earl of Derby, son of Henry de Ferrers and Bertha (…).1

Domesday Descendants references the Complete Peerage, noting that there is "no evidence for the assertion" that Hawise is the daughter of André de Vitré and Agnes of Mortain. Royal Ancestry does not include her as one of their children.2,3,4
