Sir Rhys ap Griffith, Knt., son of Sir Rhys ap Griffith, Knt. and Joan de Somerville, was born about 25 December 1325.1 He died 26 May 1380,1 and was buried at Polesworth Abbey, Warwickshire, England.1

Rhys married (1) Isabel de Stackpole, daughter of Richard de Stackpole, before 1370;2 he married (2) Margaret la Zouche, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1376.1
