Joan married (1) Sir John de Cherleton, Knt., 3rd Lord Cherleton, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), before 1344;2 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, Sir Gilbert Talbot, Knt., 3rd Lord Talbot, son of Sir Richard Talbot, Knt., 2nd Lord Talbot and Elizabeth Comyn, before 7 February 1377.1
