William d'Aubeney, son of William d'Aubeney and Maud de Senlis, was born after 1147, being still a minor in 1168.1 When he died, 7 May 1236,2 his body was buried at Newstead, Leicestershire, England, and his heart at Belvoir Priory, Leicestershire.2

William married (1) Margaret de Umfreville, daughter of Sir Odinel de Umfreville, Knt. and Alice de Lucy, before 1190;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Agatha Trussebut, daughter of William Trussebut and Albreda de Harcourt, about 29 September 1198.1,3
