To be buried in Wickford church and to the poor of that parish, £3. To the poor of Rayleigh, Rawreth, Nevendon, and Runwell, £1 to each parish
To wife Mary, £100 and a yearly allowance of £20 to be paid out of his lands by son Edmund in lieu of her dower, six kine, a bay trotting gelding and all such household stuff and plate as she had at the time they were married, except that which she had since given to her children.
Wife and maid to have dwelling and entertainment in the house in all honest and comely manner for a year after his (William's) death
