John Tenney, son of Thomas Tenney and Margaret Wood, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Great Limber, Lincolnshire, England, April 1567.1 He died before 20 October 1644,1 when he was buried at Riby, Lincolnshire, England.1

John married Ursula Mumby, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Brocklesby, Lincolnshire, England, 29 October 1599.1
