Deacon John Hoyt, son of Deacon Samuel Hoyt and Hannah Holly, was born at Stamford, Connecticut, 9 January 1675.1 He died at Stamford, 10 December 1732.1

John married Abigail Holmes, daughter of Stephen Holmes and Martha (…), at Stamford 30 April 1702.2
