Captain George Denison, son of William Denison and Margaret Chandler, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, England, 10 December 1620.1 He died at Hartford, Connecticut, 23 October 1694.2

George married (1) Bridget Tompson, daughter of John Tompson and Alice Freeman, at Roxbury, Suffolk Co., Massachusetts, March 1640;1,3,4 he married (2) Ann Borodell, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at England, say 1645.1,3
