Anne Sherman, daughter of Henry Sherman and Susan Lawrence, was born probably shortly before her baptism at Dedham, Essex, England, 7 August 1575.1,2 She died at Dedham, Essex, England, before 13 December 1638.3

Anne married (1) Anthony Whiting at Dedham, Essex, England, 8 January 1594/95;2,4,5 she married (2) Thomas Wilson after 14 July 1629. The ancestry of both husbands unknown (or not traced here).1

Anne left a will dated 15 September 1638, and proved 13 Dec 1638:
To son Anthony Whiting of Bentlie, clerk, a long table cloth, half a dozen napkins and a needle work cushion
To son John Whiting and daughter Susan Cole all the rest of household stuff etc.
To Susan £10
To daughter Phebe Barnard of New England £10 and to her two children John and Samuel born here before she went over, 20s. each.
To daughter Cole's children (4), 20s. each.
To "nephew Symon Whting, son of son Symon Whiting, deceased, a little silver wine cup at age 21
To Jane Whiting, daughter of son Symon, two silver spoons at age 21.
To "nephews" Anthony and Thomas, sons of son Anthony, £5 each at age 21.
To brother Edmund Sherman of Colchester 20s.
To son John, the bible that was his father's.
