Sir Hugh de Audley, Knt., Lord Audley, son of James de Audley and Ela Longespée, died while a prisoner at Wallingford Castle, Berkshire, England, before 1 April 1325, having joined the rebellion of Thomas, Earl of Lancaster, in 1322, but surrendered before the Battle of Boroughbridge.1,2

Hugh married, as her 2nd husband, Iseult le Rous, daughter of Sir Roger le Rous, Knight of the Shire for Gloucestershire & Herefordshire and Eleanor de Avenbury, between October 1287 and 1292.3
