William married (1) Gunnor de Lanvalay, daughter of William de Lanvalay and Hawise de Buckland, before 1207;1 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Ida Longespée, daughter of Sir William Longespée, Knt., Earl of Salisbury and Ela of Salisbury, January 1220.1
