Sir William Longespée, Knt., Earl of Salisbury, son of Henry II, King of England and Ida de Toeni, was born say between 1175 and 1180.1 He died at Salisbury Castle, Wiltshire, England, 7 March 1225/26,1 and was buried at Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire, England.1
