Martha Chapman, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), was born at Digswell, Hertfordshire, England, say 1620.1 She died at Springfield, Hampden Co., Massachusetts, 17 December 1662.2,3

Martha married (1) Samuel Kitcherell, about 1640;3,4 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, Anthony Dorchester 2 January 1651. The ancestry of both men is unknown (or not traced here).3

After she married Dorchester, she removed to Springfield and sold the Hartford property.3
