Francis Watson, son of Thomas Watson and Elizabeth Metcalf, was born probably shortly before his baptism at Thirsk, Yorkshire, England, 6 February 1676/77.1 He died before 26 September 1739, when he was buried at Thirsk.2

Francis married Mary Mitchell, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Thirsk 26 February 1706/7.3
