Joanna Manning, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), married Obadiah Force, son of Thomas Force and Hannah (…), about 1729.1,2

Joanna, wife of Obadiah Force was most likely NOT the daughter of Joseph and Temperance (Hull) Manning.

The will of Joseph Manning (the record copy, not the abstract) lists each daughter separately, giving their last names. It is apparent that his daughter Johanna had married a Cammel (or perhaps Campbell) when Joseph wrote his will 26 Apr 1728. Cammel is a known surname in New Jersey by this time, and was not a middle name. Middle names were seldom used in this era.

This does not preclude Joanna from taking a Obadiah Force as a second husband, but there's no evidence for it.3,4
