Philip Truax, son of Jacob du Trieux and Lysbeth Post, was born at Middletown, Monmouth Co., New Jersey, in 1676.1 He died at Monmouth Co., New Jersey, before 24 November 1750, when his son Larrue requested his brother Samuel administer Philip's estate.1,2

Philip married Sarah La Rue, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), about 1699.3
