Edward Farrington, son of John Farrington and Elizabeth Knight, was born at Lynn, Essex Co., Massachusetts, 5 July 1662.1 He died at Andover, Essex Co., Massachusetts, 3 January 1746/47.1

Edward married Martha Browne, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Andover, 9 April 1690.2,3

On 18 August 1683, (sometimes of Marblehead, cooper), as eldest son of John Farrington with his mother Elizabeth (Knight) Farrington Graves (wife of Mark Graves) being at a place called "Jeffrey's Neck," who was administratrix of the estate of John Farrington, her former husband, dec'd, for the sum of 100 pounds paid by Mathew Farrington Jr. of Lynn, yeoman, declared themselves satisfied, and discharged the said Mathew Farrington Jr. and granted all land at Lynn formerly owned by said Mathew Farrington Jr., one-half part of a cane mill (it being a tide mill) with one-half a bark and one parcel of upland. . . .2
