King Henry I to Henry Gregory
Henry Gregory, son of John Gregory and Alice (…), was born between 1580 and 1590.1 He died at Stratford, Connecticut, before 9 June 1655, when the court ordered the distribution of his estate.2,3

He might be the Henry Gregory, son of John, baptized at Kings Langley, Hertfordshire, 24 Apr 1580, or another baptized at All Saints Laleham, Surrey, 12 May 1585. He is not the one baptized at Flixton, St. Michael, Lancashire, 24 Jun 1589 who can be shown to have later married there, 23 Dec 1611, Elizabeth Newton, and had a different set of children baptized there 1610-1620.

Baptisms of five of his first six children have been found at St. Margaret's Parish, Uxbridge, Hillingdon, Middlesex, England. Alice is "new," not shown in Gregory, but John, Persis/Perry, Elishaphat, and Elizabeth all match the children shown in Gregory.

A marriage record is also there for a Henry Gregory and Margaret Turner, 6 Sep 1609. This is enticing, but a Margaret Gregory, widow, is also shown as buried there in 1621.4,5,6
