Elizabeth Stephin, daughter of John Stephin and Ann Tovye, was born probably shortly before her baptism at St Michael, Long Stratton, Norfolk, England, 14 September 1578.1

Elizabeth married (1) William Benedict, son of George Benedict and Thomasine Goche, at St Michael, Long Stratton, Norfolk, England, 8 October 1609;2 she married (2), as his 2nd wife, John Bridghum, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Woolpit, Suffolk, England, 8 September 1629.3
