John married Elizabeth (…), whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), say 1641.1,3

John Curtis is probably not the man of the same name listed on the Safety in 1635, out of London, bound for Virginia, John Graunt, master, nor is it proved that he ever lived at Roxbury or Wethersfield. He did have property at Stratford by 1650, and was a Sergeant with the Stratford Train Band.4,5,6
