Edward IV, King of England, son of Sir Richard Plantagenet, K.G., 3rd Duke of York and Cecily Neville, was born at Rouen, Normandy, France, 28 April 1442.1,2,3 He died at Westminster, London, England, 9 April 1483.4,2
Edward married, as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth Wydeville, whose ancestry is not traced here, at the manor house of the bride's father, Grafton Regis, Northamptonshire, England, 1 May 1464.4,2
Edward also had a number of mistresses: known, unknown, or suspected. Among those named are:
