(…) Boeter's ancestry and spouse are unknown. Baldwin notes there was a Thomas Boeter the elder buried at Bromsgrove, 1 May 1598, and widow Jane Boeter buried there 20 Jun 1599. However, the Bromsgrove registers do not survive before 1590, and the parents of this family could be another couple who died before then.

There are also two other men, William & Hugh Boeter who were having children around the same time as the four siblings identified here, but there is no known evidence to tie these two to the other four.1
