Sir Robert II Stewart, Knt., King of Scots, son of Sir Walter Stewart, Knt., 6th Steward of Scotland and Marjorie de Brus, was born 2 March 1315/16.1 He died at Dundonald, Ayrshire, Scotland, 19 April 1390,1 and was buried at Scone Abbey, Perthshire, Scotland.1
Robert married (1) Elizabeth More, daughter of Sir Adam More, Knt. and Jonet Cunningham, 22 November 1347;1 he married (2) Euphame of Ross, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), 2 May 1355.1
By various unknown mistresses, Robert had nine sons and two daughters.1
