Sir Walter Stewart, Knt., 6th Steward of Scotland, son of Sir James Stewart, Knt., 5th Steward of Scotland and Giles de Burgh, was born about 1297.1 He died at Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland, 9 April 1327.2

Walter married (1) Marjorie de Brus, daughter of Sir Robert de Brus, Knt., Earl of Carrick, King of Scots and Isabel of Mar, before 25 April 1315;1 he married (2) Isabel de Graham, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), after 1317.2,3
