Elizabeth Ford, daughter of Jacob Ford and Theodosia Johnes, was born at Morristown, Morris Co., New Jersey, 14 September 17671 and baptised there, 25 October 1767.2 She died at Columbia, Richland Co., South Carolina, 9 September 1821, (or perhaps Charleston).1

Elizabeth married Henry William DeSaussure, son of Daniel DeSaussure and Mary McPherson, at Morristown 26 May 1785.3
