Esther Arthur, daughter of William Arthur and Mercy Osborn, was born about 17 July 1780.1 She died 2 August 1847,1 and was buried at Hempstead, Nassau Co., New York.1

Esther married Thomas Smith, son of David Smith and Martha Mills, at Smithtown, Suffolk Co., New York, 14 February 1805.2
