Seth Rigby, son of Daniel Rigby and Abigail Baker, was born at Shenandoah Valley, Pennsylvania, 1800.1 He died at Penn Twp., Jay Co., Indiana, 3 March 1851,2 and was buried at West Grove Cemetery, Penn, Jay Co., Indiana.3

Seth married Delilah Gilbert, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), at Columbiana Co., Ohio, 22 July 1824.4,5,6

He died intestate, and his son-in-law, Levi Johnson, was granted administration. The estate was settled 20 August 1855, and the six surviving heirs divided the remaining proceeds of the sale of his personal estate, $209, each receiving $34.83.7
