Joan married (1) Hugh Wake, son of Baldwin Wake and Isabel de Briwerre, before 29 May 1229;2 she married (2) Sir Hugh le Bigod, Knt., Chief Justiciar of England, son of Hugh le Bigod, 5th Earl of Norfolk and Maud Marshal, before 5 February 1243/44.3
