Sir Roger Bigod, Knt., 7th Earl of Norfolk, hereditary Marshall of England, son of Sir Hugh le Bigod, Knt., Chief Justiciar of England and Joan de Stuteville, was born between 1244 and 1246.1 He died before 6 December 1306.1,2

Roger married (1), as her 2nd husband, Aline Basset, daughter of Sir Phillip Basset, Knt. and Heloise de Hastings, before 29 October 1271;3,2 he married (2) Alix d'Avesnes, daughter of Jean II d'Avesnes, Count of Hainault, Holland, and Zeeland and Philippe of Luxembourg, in 1290.4,2
