Mary Clitheroe, daughter of Sir Hugh Clitheroe, Knt., was born before 1349 when her father married his second wife.1 She died after 6 July 1427, when she was named in her husband's will.2

Mary married (1) Sir John Tempest, son of Sir Richard Tempest, Knt. and Isabella Bourne;1 she married (2) Nicholas Gascoigne, son of William Gascoigne and Agnes Franke, before 1397.1,3
