Sir Nicholas de Meinill, Knt., Lord Meinill of Whorlton, son of Nicholas Meinill, 2nd Lord Meinill and Lucy de Thweng, was born between 1302 and 1304.1 He died before 20 November 1341,1 and was buried at Whorlton, Yorkshire, England.1

Nicholas married Alice de Roos, daughter of Sir William de Roos, Knt., 1st Lord Roos of Helmsley and Maud de Vaux.2
