Sir William Ryther, Knt., son of Sir William Ryther, Knt. and Maud Umfreville, was born about 1405.1 He died 19 July 1475,1 and was buried at Ryther, Yorkshire, England.1

William married (1) Isabel Gascoigne, daughter of Sir William Gascoigne, Knt. and Joan Wyman;1,2,3 he married (2) Eleanor Fitzwilliam, daughter of Sir John Fitzwilliam, Knt. and Margaret Clarell, before 1451.1
