Thomas married (1) Joan le Despenser, daughter of Sir Hugh le Despenser, Knt. and Aline Basset, about 13 January 1273;2 he married (2), as her 2nd husband, Elizabeth de Montfort, daughter of Sir Peter de Montfort, Knt. and Maud de la Mare, before 8 June 1322.3
