Alice de Coleville, whose ancestry is unknown (or not traced here), died before 1220, by which date her lands at Dorton and Maidencourt had passed in equal shares to her daughters Juliane, wife of Robert de Beauchamp, and Sibyl, wife of William de Birmingham.1

She was mistress to John Marshal, son of John FitzGilbert "the Marshal" and Sibyl de Salisbury.2
