Sarah Starbuck, daughter of Edward "the elder" Starbuck and Katherine Eunice Reynolds, was born at Dover, Strafford Co., New Hampshire, about 1630.1 She died at Dover, 6 June 1719.1

Sarah married (1) Joseph Austin at Nantucket Co., Massachusetts, before October 1649;1,2 she married (2) Humphrey Varney at Dover, 2 March 1664/65. The ancestries of both men are unknown (or not traced here).1

To have married Joseph Austin in 1649, she was most likely born by 1630 or a little later. She may have married (1) William Story, in which case she was probably born somewhat earlier.

She was taxed as Sarah Austin in 1663.3,4
