Sir Thomas West, Knt., 1st Lord West, son of Sir Thomas West, Knt. and Alice Fitz Herbert, was born in 1365.1 He died 19 April 1405.1 In his will, he requested burial at the new chapel of Christchurch Priory, Dorset, Dorsetshire, England.1

Thomas married Joan La Warre, daughter of Sir Roger La Warre, Knt., 3rd Lord de la Warre and Eleanor de Mowbray, before 2 May 1384.2,1
